The Stellazzurra Basketball Academy at the top of the ranking EYBL

The Stellazzura Basketball Academy closed the 1st Stage of EYBL (European Youth Basketball League) with 5 wins in 5 matches played in Division1 under17.

Currently Stellazzura leads the ranking EYBL and, in addition to the excellent result of team at debut in this event, individual awards has been assigned for: best coach of Stage1 to coach Michele Catalani; Ulaneo as most improved player of Stage1; Bucarelli and Sikiras were considered in ideal starting five; Nikolic as the MVP of the entire Stage.

Recap Stage1 Division1 Under17:
The first day saw the Italian team get two great wins against Tartu Rock Ogre and BS, respectively, for 51 to 37 and 75 to 53. The second day began with a precious win over the Latvians DSN for 58 to 51. In the afternoon another success, this time easier, against the other team from Riga, the BS, with the score of 63-41. In the fifth and final match another victory, this time with a team of the same Group D, the swidish of Fryshuset that lost with Stellazzurra with the score of 67 to 51.
