Amar Alibegovic achieve NCAA

Amar Alibegovic will be the first Stellazzurra Basketball Academy player to officially reach the United States of America. The 205 cm talent, age 1995, has just signed with the prestigious St. John's University and will have a leading role in the next NCAA championship in the Big East Division.

St. John's is one of the best Universities in America and has its headquarters in New York; many home games are scheduled at Madison Square Garden, others at the renovated "Carnesecca Arena". These two theaters will be Amar's house. "Red Storm" matches are also broadcasted at Fox Sports and MSG TV Channels, so we'll can often watch the games in Europe too.

Amar has played the last two seasons with Stella Azzurra, showing a steady growth in both events, italian DNB challenge and various international appointment during the season.  During this summer has also been convened by the senior National Bosnian Team, and won the European Under20 Division B with younger National Team.

His next coach, Steve Lavin, said about him: "We are very happy that Amar chosen our College. He got the talent, the body and the basketball IQ to help us achieve our goals, fueling our program".

Instead these the excited Amar words: "I am very happy to be part of this University, after all it was my dream since I was a kid. I hope to make a quantum leap, as I did two years ago coming to Stella Azzurra. I'm looking forward to this experience".
